Lower Sixth 2014/15
Despite the exams, and drama, and the emotional chaos that comes with taking A-Levels, I have actually had a really good year and am feeling ready and excited to start my final year of school. It sounds weird to say that I'm actually quite sad it's the summer, but I didn't really want this year to end.
Last night was our Valedictory ball for the sixth form leavers, and I had to say goodbye to some really important people in my life. The upper sixth have been so amazing this year and the relationships I have with some of them mean a lot to me. They are people I will never forget and school will not be the same without them.
There were definitely some serious tears!
Overall, I've had an amazing time. I've gotten closer to a lot of people and really found my friends. I also got asked on a very unexpected date, and I am so glad he asked, because I am now with a boy who I quite frankly adore. (I still don't know how he puts up with me!)
This year's also been an important one for me for a lot of other reasons. I have become a stronger, and happier person. Last year was quite difficult, and through the school year I have overcome some big challenges and become much more confident.
There is still a lot of improving of myself that I need to do next year. I want to sort out my time management and organisation, make some new memories, push myself even more outside my comfort zone - and hopefully this will make me a university ready student!
What's made lower sixth bearable is the people.
Especially my girls/the clique. Quite often I want to kill them, but they really are my favourites.
